Dafna Berman, L.C.S.W., M.S.W.
Psychotherapist

In Dafna's practice, she takes a strength-based approach which is grounded in the principles of self-determination, resilience and the belief in one’s innate ability to heal. Her philosophy is guided by the eco-systems perspective where the impact of the socio-political environment on individuals, families and communities is acknowledged.

Dafna works collaboratively with her clients and, when appropriate, may include significant people in her client’s life. Together, Dafna and her clients identify barriers and obstacles to achieving the client’s goals; what keeps clients from implementing changes they would like to make. Dafna and her clients also explore ways to address these obstacles, as they tap into their own unique qualities and strengths.
