Leadership in Health Promotion

When the Board of Directors of the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center updated the organizationís mission statement in 2009, they specifically indicated that the mission is supported by our leadership in community building, health promotion, advocacy, and communications. As leaders in the arena of health promotion, Center staff members have, since the organizationís inception, diligently worked to develop, initiate and evaluate health and wellness programs for the LGBT community of metro Milwaukee. Today, nine unique programs are offered by the Center to improve the quality of life for all of us.
